"The Fjord" awarded Film Prize at the Film Festival Envirofilm

Last updated: 25/05/2011 // The Norwegian Film "The Fjord" directed by Skule Eriksen won the prize for best camera work at the seventeenth international Environment Film Festival Envirofilm in Banska Bystrica.

Nærøyfjorden was listed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2005 as one of the most valuable and worthy sites in the world, both when it comes to natural and cultural heritage. The Fjord is a poetic depiction of the fjord and the people.

The prize was won in competition with 156 films from 33 different countries. The award is the fifth International Film Prize awarded The Fjord.
