Norwegian paradigm in Bratislava

Each year on May 17 Norwegians fill the streets with cheers and flags in celebration of Norway's constitution, adopted in 1814. The May 17 celebrations vary from place to place, but usually follow a traditional pattern that makes this the highlight of the year for most Norwegian children.

With over a million visitors, the last year and a half’s exhibition Edvard Munch – The Modern View in Paris, Frankfurt and London was a remarkable success. Furthermore, art lovers all over the world witnessed a fantastic auction in New York last fall, as a version of Munch’s famous painting Skrik was auctioned.
