Nobody plays the saxophone quite like Jan Garbarek. The iconic Norwegian musician will – for the very first time – perform in the Slovak capitol on March 2. During his concert in the PKO (Park kultúry a oddychu), which begins at 8 pm, he will be accompanied by his keyboardist of many years, Rainer Brüninghaus, the e-bassist from Brazil, Yuri Daniel and master drummer Trilok Gurtu from India.

One hundred years ago on this day, perhaps the most remarkable personality that ever lived in Norway died. Bjørnstjerne Bjørnson was the first Norwegian to be awarded the Nobel Prize in literature. With His Majesty King Harald V as its high protector, the anniversary will be marked in Norway and several European countries including Slovakia.
