MOD State Secretary Ondrejcsak Learned about Defense Management System in Norway

Slovak MOD State Secretary Robert Ondrejcsak met with his Norwegian counterpart Roger Ingebrigsten, to discuss models of management at the defense sector in Slovakia and Norway.
The model of unification of the civilian and military departments of the Ministry of Defense is one of the possibilities of cheaper and more efficient management of the defense sector, said Ondrejcsak after the meeting. Such model already works in Norway for almost a decade. “I had a possibility to learn in detail about the Norwegian strategic defense management system,” said Ondrejcsak.
The working meeting of Slovak and Norwegian state secretaries of the defense ministries was in relation to the ongoing Strategic Defense Review, within which also issues of the optimal solution of management structures of ministry of defense and general staff are evaluated.
